    Open accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/delete_account in a browser and sign in with your username/email and password. This is Snapchat's official deletion link; avoid third-party pages.

    Snapchat asks for your username (sometimes a verification code). Enter the details and continue. This page is the only official way to delete; it works from both web and mobile browsers.

    Confirm the deletion

    Re-enter your username/password and tap 'Delete Account' / 'Continue'. Your account is deactivated immediately: friends cannot find you and you go invisible.

    Know the 30-day window

    The account stays deactivated for 30 days. Logging in during that period restores it; otherwise friends list, Snaps and account info are permanently deleted at the end — no recovery.

Can I reverse the deletion within 30 days?

Yes. Logging in at snapchat.com with the same username and password restores the account. You must return within 30 days; after that the account is permanently deleted and the username may not be re-available.

Can I clear my Spotlight/Stories history without deleting the account?

Yes. Under Settings > Privacy controls you can clear Story and Spotlight history individually while keeping the account. Deleting the account is the most permanent step.
